the one pic shoes your stern ropes crosed, when tied up at the doc.
Now I undertand all kinds of way to tie a boat up, and spring lines.
BUT what was the purpose of this? Am i missing something?
the ropes keep the boat from going left or right, same as if you just ties the left side tot he left cleat, and right side to the right cleat.
and both keep the boat from going out of the slip?
so why did you cross them to make it harder to get on boat?

I know what you mean. I can't believe that boat even made it to the classifieds in the first place. It's definitely the all around baddest 36 Apache I've seen, & was cared for by a billionaire's yacht crew daily on top of that. I bet that boat has seen more soap than water it's so clean.
