Jonyb can wet sounds come w/ different grills?
http://www.wetsounds.com/pages/products/XS-650.html http://www.wetsounds.com/pages/products/SW-650.html The XS-808's are available in all 3 options, but the tweeter is removeable (convertible, as they call it), so it can be mounted in a different location. http://www.wetsounds.com/pages/products/XS-808.html http://www.wetsounds.com/pages/products/SW-808.html The XS-10FA comes with the silver grill, but using other grills are an option. Not required to use their grill with this sub. http://www.wetsounds.com/pages/products/XS-10FA.html http://www.wetsounds.com/pages/products/SW-10FA.html The XS12 and 12" XXX don't come with a grill. |

After hearing my Buddy's boat with JL Audio i decided the same for me.
I installed 1 JL 900/5 MHD amp pushing 2 JL M10IB5 10" subs and 2 sets of 7.7" M770 with sport grilles. In addition, i have a set of 6.5" M650 being pushed by a M400/4 (bridged). I have a Carion m502 head unit and playing from my iPhone via Bluetooth. This system is LOUD and CLEAN! |

unfortunately boating in salt water means everything has to get washed after, I guess in a lake you can get away with equipment that isn't waterproof. Hell the boat gets a layer of salt just being near the water when it is windy.

In my 230 I have 4 Infinity 6x9's and 2 10" clarion subs. Run by 2 Clarion 480's. It was a few years ago and this got me started with the thought I would upgrade in the future.
I have just under a grand in it with the Clarion HU. Surprisingly I've had a lot of complements on the sound. So when it is time to upgrade (after something takes a dump) I'll go from there. I agree about the 6x9's kinda going away, luckily I didn't cut holes for these! |
