To me that is like a 4 door Ferrari, most owners have another car to get groceries in. If you are going to deal with a wide beam boat, and 1075 maintenance why not go a little smaller 44-48. The slightly smaller less equipped vessel will be faster, and you can just sleep at your South Beach home, 80 foot yacht, or favorite 5 star hotel. At that price point, it is getting into the range of people that do not have a budget. They also never seem to sleep on their boats
That is my best guess, not sure if it is an educated guess however |
She would b right at home next to the big cig eric......a dock upgrade forsure.lol

That sucker past me while I was in Lake Tahoe. If anyone is familiar with south lake you know the roads aren't exactly roomy. I almost broke my neck watching it go by. It looks big on the water but it looks like the titanic on the trailer.

Got to wonder what they were thinking when they set that up. "Hmmmmm. 55 feet long... How can we make it easier to handle around the dock? I know!!! Lets put fixed drives and a rudder on it!"
Obviously you have no experience with yachts of or any of the top level sport-fishing boats, which are any where from 35' an up. Everyone of them are fixed drive with a rudder. Where I boat, 50-80 foot sport-fishing boats are common with fixed drive and a rudder. They have been that way long before an i/o ever came along. I have never had a problem, nor anyone I know with such a boat while docking, other than those inexperienced in docking. Your opinion holds no merit, as the boat builders who build the real sport fishing boats, are considerably larger, and many times the cost of a any of the offshore boats on offshoreonly, yet stick with fixed drives and rudder. |
