Default Is raceboat rus real or what is the deal?

Who is this guy Raceboat Rus ,is he what he seems to be ? I see him on almost every boating web site there is , and he is constantly promoting boating event of his own creation that cost almost nothing to go to , or even free. The latest event is an event to collect for the needs of a Boys Ranch . .
I have seen his toys 4 tots event on the websites and spoke to some who have gone and from what they say it is a great time . That for about 30 bucks he gives you 2 tee shirt pours free beer has a fun run and two parties with live band and collect a ton of toys for the kids with the Marines ,.I hear that he keeps the police off your back at the run. IS this true ,because it seems almost too good to be true .I am going to go to one of his events . But what is his reason for putting on these events in such a manner for almost no money ? Is this rus guy such a philanthropist or is he trying to undermine the big poker run guys. . One person told me that the toys event has a real warm feel and it has all the fun of the pricy poker run with none of the pressure or exorbitant costs . I just want to know what is up with his guy rus?
Is this guy a sigh of changes to come ? Like E-mail done away with postage and the internet done away with in print magazines products and services once costly are now free . . Are these free event the start of the demise of the pricey poker runs?... Rus , PM me

We have a toy run here that a couple of guys started, the run is free, $20 poker hand, $8 per plate BBQ dinner, and usually an after party at a bar where you buy your own beer and they get the bar to pay for a band. Great time for a great cause. For cheap $$$, well until we get to the bar... It cost the organizers nothing but their time. He seems legit, just wants participation so it can be a good event for whatever cause it is. Like any organizer would want.

Dear marine Industry Professional,

I hope that this letter finds you doing well. The reason that we are writing to you today is to invite you to our “For The Boys Boat Reunion.” We are very interested in having your company attend our event and market to our guests. We are expecting a bigger participation that most other poker runs and boating events. We have a very distinct advantage over other venues. Our event is FREE to participate in, not only for the guests, but also for the vendor’s .We welcome you to come and set up your display and market and sell to our guests.

We would like to offer this to you at NO COST. All that we are asking is that you donate some of your product to Roadheaver Boys Ranch . We will display Your Product or merchandise at the event. We will also let you present your product and then we will auction it off to our guests. For example, if your company produces oil, we ask that you be a vendor of your product and that you donate a box of oil to the boys ranch. Upon your presentation in front of the auction crowd we would auction it off to benefit the boys at Rodeheaver Boys Ranch. We hope that this idea appeals to you. There is no cash outlay on your behalf and your donation is tax deductible as we are a 501c3 charity. Please contact us as soon as possible. Contact Rus Matos event director at 407-760-3481 for further details or E-mail rostymatos@gmail. Product and merchandise donations can be sent to Roadheaver boys Ranch, Attention Jeff King, 380 Boys Ranch Rd, Palatka, FL 32177. We welcome you to visit the ranch web site at rbr.org.

This event will be promoted on many different web sites, live promotions and also with several media sources as well as several publications. We look forward to this "For The Boys Boat Reunion" being a great success and your participation will make that happen.

Respectfully,

Jeff King
