Why won't Outerlimits pay their bills?
 

Seems like OL owes some money but won't pay a small bill? That sucks.

heard several different stories from different sources who knows what the truth is. Could be true. could be sh!t started by haters. ( I can't see the fb page)

So Mike Fiore / Outerlimits Powerboats - when are you going to pay your 2yr old invoice that you promised to pay back in December? Guess your not a man of your word like you said you were? You may have blocked me from your page but you can't block me from mine :-) so how bout it Mike? I understand you have plans to deliver a new OL to a customer at the Atlantic City Poker Run / Race - don't even think about it ;-) the trail of people you try and screw is getting longer and longer.... I don't get mad Mike - I get even :-)

I thought that in the United States of America one is presumed innocent until proven guilty . ( two sides to every story , just saying)

Oh.....crap! That's right! NJPPC has to take them to court first to get paid on a sponsorship bill. What was I thinking. LOL :) :D :D Maybe Outlerlimits can get on here and give their side too? I'm just posting what I read. NJPPC can give their side too. That's why these are called "discussion forums".

SCOPE has had deatbeat sponsors too. The reap the benefit of exposure then................no money. It directly affects the charity donations the clubs give.

It's pretty simple chit.

Either they received a couple of invoices and didn't pay them or they didn't .

That organization gives their money away.

You start stiffing them and you are hurting good people that need the $$$.

Not a typical commercial transaction.

More boat related horsechit.

Sorry if I offended anyone . I am certainly not aware of any of the facts or circumstances just making a general statement in absence of said facts . Like they say "the truth will set you free."

Just what I said. A fellow powerboat club supposedly is getting stiffed for sponsorship. I support a local club and can understand their position. Why not make it known or get clarification on the issue? No? Just make it go away?

Just like to know what the deal is. Heard very similar stories many times but never from the guy that write the invoice. Was there legitimately a mistake made or??? Guess it doesn't affect me so your right wtf does it matter the cheerleaders are doing a good job refraining on this one.

the rep of that club did not feel the need to post on this subject,but you did,the key word is [supposedly].if there is no unpaid bill,this post only sheds a bad lite on mike fiore,thats all im saying.if you have facts on this matter please post them,because the he said she said stuff does absolutly no good,just my opinion.

Nope you're just messenger asking a simple question. My reference was for the other parties.

I would agree with this and I would think that with the reputation that Outerlimits has...one of three things might possibly be the cause.

1. Outerlimits received the bill and somehow got overlooked.

2. Outerlimits never received the bill in the first place.

3. Outerlimits did not agree to whatever has been said.

I dont know anyone at Outerlimits, but I find it difficult to believe that they have refused to pay a bill that we know nothing about except "guess-ta-mation" and some OFFICIAL post over on FACE BOOK to what happened. As for them to get on here with theire version...I dont look for that either.

If the amount sought is less than $3,000 than the NJPPC can sue OL in NJ Small Claims court, if there is a valid case. The filing fee is $15 and an attorney is not required (but an attorney can still represent the plaintiff or defendant). Award is capped at $3,000.00 IN NJ Small Claims Court

I have went to court for my friends who are small business owners who were owed money (plaintiffs) using this path (Small Claims Court) with great success.

BUT before filing in court, the party owed money should call OL, send OL a certified letter demanding payment, fax the letter, send the letter as an attachment to OL, at least make sure that they (OL) are aware of an outstanding debt. If no response, then the NJ Superior court is the last method of collecting the debt.

Not a complex scenario here at all, but since I have ZERO FACTS to work with it is all speculation on my behalf. OL builds a nice boat, whether OL pays their bills I have no comment or knowledge of that issue.

Unfortunately for some New Jersey residents that could be misunderstood to mean your will get beaten with lumber (boards of lumber- "boarded"), until you pay what you owe....of course that will not be happening in this scenario..

that would typically the course of action that my clients intially want to take before I suggest the court system as a better remedy.

Don't know law but if verbal agreement do they have a case??
