I need a new boat cooler. My other ones are getting old. Also they normally dont have much ice left in them after a day on the water in the hot sun, and then all night. I would love it to keep ice for a second day, or at least a second morning.
Yetis, are DAMN EXPENSIVE...... but i have heard good things.
anyone else have expenice? or other brands? maybe a knock off?

Yetis are great, but you pay for it. I have one of these soft sided coolers with no complaints.

it has very nice mounting hardware and the cushions for the top make for a very nice seat.
The only draw back is they are heavy when full and tend to disappear if you don't lock them down. Fortunately they also have a very nice Cable Lock available.
There are a few generics out there that have good reviews. I would search on The Hull Truth.

High quality coolers and made in Texas, I've had Yeti and one of these in the 75 quart size and the brute seems to hold ice longer for me.

Yetti's are worth their weight in gold!!! hands down the best coolers made. I am a hunting freak and Yetti is the only cooler that can keep ice for 7 days and is crazy tough. I have 2 of them and plan on a smaller 3rd to keep on boat.

+1 We use one on my buddy's center console we use for fishing. It's several years old and still looks new, even after a lot of time in the Florida sun. It holds ice VERY well.
