By MaryAnn Spoto/Star Ledger

"The jury of 10 men and four women will have to decide whether DiGilio’s bow light was on. Witnesses for the prosecution testified it wasn’t. Witnesses for the defense said it was.

Tacopina accused prosecutors of ignoring video surveillance that shows a boat with the Imperial’s profile and with its bow light illuminated in the area of the Wharfside restaurant at the same time DiGilio was leaving the eatery.

"Four weeks of trial. Somebody should have watched the video … before we put him on trial for homicide," Tacopina said.

See the video for yourself.

A video plus a witness that reported the very next day the details of the 3 boats in the area that night...

Sadly to find out that the Prosecution had this video for the last 5 years but the Defense was only able to obtain it during the trial.

Its ashame that our legal system, as it stands is... guilty until you prove your innocents. Also now it seems there is no such thing as an accident.... someone HAS TO PAY.

To dispute the rumor of the boat being thrown on a trailer in the middle of the night and hidden:

According to testimony the Imperial was put on a boat lift on the Metedeconk River just about a mile away from the accident . The next morning between 9 & 9:30AM according to a source , the boat was driven around to Barnegat Bay, under the Mantoloking Bridge and up through the lagoons to get to Baywood Marina. Several witnesses saw the boat being put on a trailer that morning in Baywood. The boat was handed over to the authorities from approximately 12 hours from the time of the accident. Certainly was not days later as the rumor mill likes to keep stating.

Jury continues to deliberate today ....

Did/does Anthony's boat have Captains Choice exhaust? If not, it is baffling that all testifying parties on Post's boat said that "they did not see or HEAR anything" in the moments before the crash?

Maybe they had music playing on their boat? Is the jury deliberating yet?

What bothers me is where the boat went after it was pulled... hidden in a garage. If history says that's where he always keeps it then it make sense but not many people around here have a garage big enough for a 27 ft boat and trailer.
