Default fill fuel filter with seafoam or other treatment

I know with a diesel, you can pull the fuel filter, fill with diesel treatment and run...helps clean out the injectors well.

Anybody ever do this with a gas engine and a fuel treatment...seafoam or?????

I left my boat untreated for 4 months, as I was planning on using it this winter in FL, but havent touched it since December...maybe just a couple ounces in the fuel filter? Just watched an interesting video on "b3c"...will probably give it a try.
