Yeah, that was a 10 Meter. Doug Popma said there was a lot of money in the bottom of that boat. I believe it was one of the first step bottom fountain.

And remember all of the horror stories about the evil handling that almost all of the early stepped hulls exhibited until manufacturers figured out how to do it right.

I plan on getting some cut some time this summer. I will cut an extra set if you want them.

I need to find a water jet operator around here to cut my vents for the hatch. But if I don't go that route I will definately like to have a set of those to replace my originals rookie. How much would a set cost?

Exactly when was that?
Is there still a market for non-stepped hull or has the market completely shifted to stepped hulls only??? With all the bad press with stepped hulls I would have thought non-stepped hulls would make a comeback. Perfect example was the papa dukes race team. Dominated for years in a old school carrera or similar then made the move to a stepped bottom and weren't nearly as competitive and even went for a swim in MI. Am I the only one who will give up a couple mph for better handling??? |

Thanks tcwcar, is it Herr and Saco? I did an internet search and came up with them but thought maybe they only did production quantity runs.
