Update
10 Attachment(s)
Ok, allot going on with the makeover and no time to post photos lately, but here are some cabin updates.
The lights we used are much better looking now, and the arrangement on the rear bulkhead will have to change for the 19" flatscreen TV to fit nicely. Of course Norcold changed the size of the busted-up old refrigerator with the new series DE-0751 BB model, but luckily SH has enough room to widen the cutout for it to fit. All the old strip lighting with burnt up sections will be replaced with new LED strip lighting from ITC. (very nice stuff) XT |
Cockpit Mockup
10 Attachment(s)
We got the new XTB bolster up in the boat and determined it needed to move back 1 1/2" and up 3/4" because Mark is a big guy and we want the boat to fit. We were able to use the original modified frames so that holes in the cockpit flooring will be unaltered.
As you can see the rear bench seating is all designed from scratch and nothing was based on the original cockpit seating. The seat was widened almost 6" and raised 2" for much better passenger comfort. Everything will be built from Prolite plastic materials unless it is formed/fiberglass reinforced wood, and the seat will be hinged much better for access. XT |
