Yes, Michael Mann used it himself in the filming of the Miami Vice Movie too. As for the Bad Boys 2, they used the sister to my boat which had the red deck stripe and bottom on it and I was told they used mine for either the close up of the cockpit or the shooting of the engine hatch. Again, that is what I was told. I can not confirm that for sure. At 2:19/2:20 the boat in frame appears to have no deck stripe and a camera mounted on the front.

I am not sure you were given accurate information. At the time of the shooting of BB2 i believe your boat was still in inventory at John' Pass Marina. When it was bought back from the dealer was about the time of Miami Vice was just proposed and we used it for pre-production filming in Biscayne Bay with a freighter at night to figure out how to shoot all the boats in the dark. Colin Ferrell was in your boat at that shoot. I know cause I was there in the boat. I put alot of time on your boat at various poker runs, races as pace boat, and other events. Josh Stickles and I even did some filming for a NBC station during the NBA finals in Miami. It had the handle of "old reliable" cause it never let us down for any event. If you pm me your email address I can send you some photos of your boat from those day.

I do know it was owned by a famous record producer from New York, I can't remember the guys name right now. I have the information at work. When they owned it, the rear of the boat was green

I don't think it's a big deal but my wife likes to tell everyone

Is that the red/white Bullet that was owned by GrumpyBullet on MWBP? If so, I believe that boat was originally green/white or at least that color at some stage in its life.

I remember when Merriot had that cat. He had (or still does?) a huge house on Lake Winipesaukee in NH, with a stable of boats in his boat house. Was bad ass back int he day.

My 1998 32 fever was purchsed new by Jeff Gordon. Don't know how long he owned it, I'm the 4th owner. Not a NASCAR fan myself, but FYI, no evidence of anything homersexual going on in the cuddy....just sayin'

Dick Simon Marine about 10 years ago. Rodman would just pull up to anyone's lip and leave it tied up. DSM would have to go fetch it.

I saw it sitting on a trailer in the middle of the launch ramp in Newport once. No truck hooked up to it or anything, just boat on trailer at top of ramp blocking the ramp. Always wondered what the story of that was.

there was an incident on Lake Lewisville (most dangerous lake in Texas) where three people were on a boat at night going slow in a no wake zone and another boat came blowing through and went over the top of them and sliced one girls face up really bad with the prop

It has been speculated that it was a boat owned by Dennis Rodman, but that Rodman was not operating it at the time and Rodman was even deposed in a lawsuit over the incident that also had pier 121 marina also as a defendant

the driver of the boat was said to be tall and muscular with longer hair and with a female with longer hair as a passenger as well so really that would leave Rodman out because of the "longer hair" and it was implied the driver was a tan white male

if you google Dennis Rodman boat accident you can get all the rumors ect......most people do seem to say that the boat Rodman owned was frequently seen before and never seen after the incident, but most believe Dennis was not actually driving or on the boat at the time

many speculate the boat was buried (some speculate that an employee of Rodman Excavation was driving it) and strangely there was another case in Texas on Lake Buchanan where a person was killed and 8 years later the boat that ran them over was found buried

Rookie17 04-26-2013 08:01 PM

The guy I bought mine from told me Rusty Wallace owned it when new. I never bothered to try and find out for sure.

It came up in conversation at the time because I bought the boat out of Ohio and it was supposedly "coming back" to Charlotte he said.

Irony is my girlfriend used to date his son Steven. So she gets a kick out of the story.

After having been employed in the Cup circus before though its kind of whatever and I forgot about it until reading this thread.

A couple 330's could make that thing disappear deep deep in short order.
