Jupiter Waterfront Inn has slips as well as Sailfish Marina on Singer Island. Boca Resort is nice but it is big money and their marina is really for 2-3 yachts. If you get to the Sand's in Pompano you are just a short distance from Bahia Mar and Pier 66 (nicer hotels in the heart of Ft Lauderdale). In Miami you have Sealine Marina/Marriott just inside Govt. Cut. FPC starts their poker runs there.

I live in Delray but one of my friend was married at Boca Resort. As part of their package it was "only" $25 a foot for the weekend.

Sailfish is a great choice... Beautiful, crystal clear water and right on the inlet.

FWIW - If you were here this weekend, you could have run outside all the way from Jupiter to Miami outside! I ran from Boynton to Jupiter outside 80 no tabs just beautiful. Sea turtles and dolphins everywhere.... Great boating this weekend.

One day like that was worth it for a long time.

Again, thanks for the input. We stayed at sailfish last year and loved it.

I think we have Sands Harbor locked down for night #2. Is there anything between Jupiter and Pompano for night #1?? Boynton Beach any good? It looks about 50 miles from Jupiter to Pompano, which isn't a problem, but we like to raft up, stop at beaches and little tiki bars, etc... 50 miles is going to push our pace more than we want.

After Pompano we will have Friday and Saturday night in Ft Lauderdale and Miami.

Boynton is nice, but dont know of any places to stay on the water, Pompano isnt really all that much further if you run the outside to Hillsboro inlet.

we plan to run inside. How long would you guess it would take to run inside from Jupiter to Pompano?

what about West Palm Beach or Delray Beach, anything around those area's.

I have a Question? Has anyone from OSO done a fun run from St. Petersburg, FL. to Miami, FL. by boat? I am thinking about doing it but I just thought I would ask.

Jupiter to Pompano is about 52-55 miles....Never did the trip on the inside, way too many no wake/slow zones but I can tell you from Jupiter Inlet to Peanut Island (about 10 miles on the outside) is 45-50 minutes and about 1/3 of that is 30 mph+ with the other 2/3 being no wake/slow zones.

I can't think of any hotels on the water with marinas between Sailfish and Sands. (Boca Resort is one but it is pricey, more for the yachting type). Not too many marinas along the way either come to think of it, it is mainly a residential stretch of waterway. From Sands south to Miami, there are a lot more marinas/waterfront hotels/restaurants but there are a few stretches of residential areas too.

Jupiter pretty much summed it up. Ya got about 2 hours on the inside to pompano from peanut in addition to the 45 minutes he mentioned
