I applaud his ambition and ideas of not going down the same path as several others, but wow I can't say I'd put that much work and $$$$$ into that boat. Good luck I hope he reaches his goal

+1 I don't know anything about that hull so maybe I'm the one in the dark? |

weird!
is that likea 23 foot flattie lake boat? |
As a fan of older small boats, I find it very interesting as I've also dumped rediculous sums of $$$ into projects that I was told were silly...
-Gotta have passion for your project and this guy's got it!:thankyouthankyou: Kurt |
At this point i would find a different boat to put that motor in.... And if i remember right it had an Alpha drive on it anyhow.

I take it this hull has some kind of sentimental value to the owner? At least I hope. To rip the transom and stringers out of that boat doesn't make a lot of sense to me, can't he find a dry replacement hull for like 1000 bucks?

why do I just know this is going to end badly....I hope he intends on doing some bottom work...if the boat doesn't come apart at speed...
drop it out of a c130...it'll do 120...heh |
