I applaud his ambition and ideas of not going down the same path as several others, but wow I can't say I'd put that much work and $$$$$ into that boat. Good luck I hope he reaches his goal

As a fan of older small boats, I find it very interesting as I've also dumped rediculous sums of $$$ into projects that I was told were silly...

At this point i would find a different boat to put that motor in.... And if i remember right it had an Alpha drive on it anyhow.

I take it this hull has some kind of sentimental value to the owner? At least I hope. To rip the transom and stringers out of that boat doesn't make a lot of sense to me, can't he find a dry replacement hull for like 1000 bucks?

why do I just know this is going to end badly....I hope he intends on doing some bottom work...if the boat doesn't come apart at speed...

drop it out of a c130...it'll do 120...heh
