You need to take Tres Matin's high performance course. If memory serves me, he said that the majority of catastrophic problems with injuries and deaths were attributed to improper tab/trim settings. Take his course! It is really expensive, you will learn a lot, you will get hands on instruction in your own boat, and you will think it was worth every penny. I would like to take the course again...!

Close Tom, too much tab generally wont lead to a trip and stuff, not enough tab will, when the boat stands up and the ass catches. Too much tab and it will bowsteer, and the transom may hop, but unless you have 380s mounted way low, they wont catch like everyone thinks they will.
