looking @ the lines and the colour - an ol' Glastron but from the bounce - it could be the 2013 DUB step Fountain... this years version has egg beaters!

There is no actual answer to these lines of questioning - too many variables, predjuices and technology is always evolving.

It only takes $$$ and cojojnes to outrun 177.

Look at the Pleasure cats - PP 180+ one day, Gino ups him a short time later by a few mph in his Mercedes MTI with the same throttleman.

Over at Mystic they're droping in 1850hp turbines and readily tops 200MPH..

Meanwhile Mr. Tomlinson has been playing somewhat under the radar at 190+ and decides T-55's in a Mystic is his new pleasure craft of chioice....

Coming back around, PP is now running 1650's. personally I think the 177 will stand for a while longer because it's easier (not to mention ROI) to push the cats over 200 with given hp and still have a useable boat thereafter compared to a dedicated "Fastest V in the world" experimental boat...

Correct. The "fastest vee" debate is like asking who's the smartest of the three stooges. Cats are king and that's all there is to it.
