|
There are several hull cleaners out there, I like the stuff from West Marine.

You can easily get it at Home Depot $9 gallon. Literally spray it on with a bug sprayer and come back 5 minutes later and hit it with a hose. Perfectly white and 10x cheaper than any marine product.... |

on off acid works great, but sucks to work with it. Muriatic acid will do it also. Neither are very good for your boat.
|
Used muratic and or on/off for 25plus years and never had a problem.

ON OFF is the best in my book

I was at my marina one evening and 6 boats were being detailed all of them were using this stuff. I picked some up, sprayed my hull and was very happy. My stainless Lathem steering hardware looks brand new! |
I used toliet bowl cleaner (muriatic acid) last fall in a sprayer. Be careful with your driveway as it will stain the concrete. I also was careful with the drive and trailer and kept it wet/washed off of those.

Another product called Mary/Kate hull cleaner. Works great. As soon as it touches water it's dead. I wipe whole hull and the hose dry.
