Default Speedometer Issue?

I just had my outdrive rebuilt (XR) and put Imco -2 lower on (had a regular XR lower before). Speedo was working great before the rebuild, and being a non gps it was actually very accurate (only 4-5 mph off @ 100mph). Since then I have taken the boat out twice and my speedo has been off by around 30 mph @ 60mph. Has anyone had an issue like this? Any suggestions before I take it back to the shop?

Thanks!

Sounds like with your X dimension changing the flow to your pilot tube changed as well. Is your pilot tube adjustable? Try dropping it a tad to see what that does.

Why not upgrade to a GPS speedo with recall ??? Way more accurate and don't have to watch when making a high spped pass.

I probably am going to do that regardless. I was kicking my self b/c I just bought that speedo last season (needed a higher mph reading), but didnt go with the gps

Anyone need a barely used a 80mph speedo, or a 100mph speedo?

I removed my speedo and made a plate to install a 5in screen Garmin map/GPS. Showed my speed but also where the heck I was going!
