40 boats showed up then 20K/40 is $500 per boat net donation
if 50 then it is 20K/50 = $400 per boat
Seems after the overhead, staff, rescue boats, etc that the numbers seem off.
I did this run 4 times (though a hurricane washed it out in 2006) and it is a great event with a lot of boating and a great venue. Glad to hear it is still going.

I don't want to get into this debate.. yet.. But the 20$K was at the black jack tables? So.. when you "buy" cards, new hands at several hundreds a pop? What does that has to do with FPC? IT's been going on way before FPC got into it. Glad that everyone had a good time.

Lets face facts the reason you can not go for 200 dollars is that we have to remember that most poker runs are done to make money for a charity. Stu and Jackie as nice as they are do it to pay there personal bills. It is a business for them so they have to charge enough money to cover the event and pay themselves. As you can see from the best poker hand prize they are not paying out money like most other poker runs. The garmin is most likely donated and the 500 credit is for a future poker run charge so it really does not cost anything for them. Again Stu and Jackie are great people but poker runs for them are a business and not to make money for a charity. Just my 02cents

I and several others, I'm sure, want to see more pics of "You" Tristan. You are definately the best looking crew member on freedom 1 and I'm sure Jim and Tyson would agree. So.... post away!
