Default exhaust/ head port mismatch?

Does anybody know if its still ok for the ports to be mismatched? My heads are D shaped and the exhaust ports are oval shaped. I have spoken with a tech from Profiler on the this and he said it shouldn't be an issue considering I have thru hull, which means theirs no back pressure. I guess its the issue of not having the same amount of gasket compared if they were matched. The person I bought my exhaust from had the same issue and has been running like this for a year with no problems... I guess I'm just looking for some more feedback... Thanks!

No, that is not good. They should match or at least the exhaust manifold should not block any of the exhaust port.

take a round port exhaust gasket and match it up to your heads,,if theirs no obstruction then the is nothing to worrie about..

I thought the exhaust ports were d shaped, intake would be square , rect, or round.
