Default basic merc fuel injection questions

454 lx mpi.... first run. It will start on starting fluid no problem, but cant get it to keep running. How long will it take to get fuel into the system?? Do I have to bleed/prime anything?? Any basic trouble shooting tips?

It may have a slug of oil in the injectors from winterizing that will keep it from running for about 2 minutes or so. The oil will barely come from the injector holes so it gets out very slowly. I have had to run friend's 525s for 3-5 minutes (eventually it will run, but rough) to get it all clear.
