Wondering, anyone washed there cockpit cover in a wash machine? My cockpit and bow covers are filthy from winter storage dust in the barn. I've powerwashed them in the past on clean concrete driveway, but that was a pain in the butt. My covers are not the sunbrella like material. I forget what they call it, but its more of a canvas kind of cover, lightweight stuff. Thought about bringing them to the laundry mat ?

just did mine this weekend,,at laundry mat,,didnt use dryer,,,but they had a high speed spinner,that worked out great

I wash my cover in the really big machine at the laundry mat . then go home and snap it on to dry so it doesn't shrink
...

yeah be carefull of that, I took the cover for the nova to the coin car wash, scrubbed it up brought it home and threw it over the fence to dry. It shrunk and no longer fits.

Mild I have same material, took mine to laundry may & had no problems used the dryer just no heat & didn't completely dry it.

I've put mine in the washing machine. Worked fine, Didn't use the dryer and had to re-waterproof it when it was done...

If you're washing a Sunbrella type cover use Woolite soap not regular laundry soap per Sunbrella's direction on their web site.

Thanks guys. I plan to get mine to the laundry mat and clean it. Nothing worse than a dirty cover.
