Default Anyone ever redye a cockpit cover?

The windshled cover on my trawler is faded at the bottom from years of cleaner on the deck. Has anyone ever dedyed the cover befor? If so what type of dye did you use. Its still good just faded from blue to white at the bittom. I have dyed a microfiber tux befor with a acrylic dye, thought that might work
