NO WAKE
I was at the marina and had to laugh at the variety of speeds.

To me, NO WAKE MEANS" NO WAKE" !! How does the law enforce something that does not have a definition?

Whats up flylevel No wake usaully means no wake ..

but at one time I found a defination for "No wake" and it said
" The slowest speed safe for a vessal" ...

For me its at idle.... but idle for me is 900 rpm with a 25".. it throws a wake anyways...

My buddies place up Maine is amazing how fast people will go past. Just remember this. You are responsible for your own wake.

I was stopped at a 900 rpm idle and showed that I couldn't go any slower. Marine patrol answer......."Then shut it off"

Better then NO WAKE is MINIMUM WAKE ?????? What the heck is that????????? Been stopped a few times for that. Never got the same answer either.

Some areas have no wake 5 mph.....Depending on your hull,you can get a pretty nice wake at 5mph.
Gearhead99,funny about what the Marine Patrol told you. Today we were coming out of the locks and the lockmaster starts yelling at a buddy of mine to slow down. He said this is as slow as the boat goes.Lockmaster replied,then shut of one off your motors.He then yelled at me,I just smiled and kept my boat at the same speed.....NO WAKE

I've simply left one 1 neutral so I don't run over a 17' bowrider in front of me. My buddy has triples and regularly uses only the center for slow situations You poor guys with blown , injected , nos'd , 32" Bravo 1 , mega motored , singles really got it tuff. It's probably hard to hold it dow to six mph or no wake
