My biggest fear. Trailer brake, wheel falls off, come off the hitch ball, etc, etc. At least with the smaller boats they can be loaded on a rollback but the 24 would require more then just a simple rollback if the trailer would fail.

I was towing our boat to the marina yesterday and en-route something in the electric trailer brake system failed. For about 15 miles I slowed to 35 mph max. and made sure there was a significant amount of empty space ahead of me.

heres when an axle breaks on a trailer on a 24, and you need to get it back to the house. i knew the old trailer was crap, was trying to limp it 2 miles to the house. it made it about 1/2 mile when the wheel fell off. now its on a new trailer
