I use FSR for the yellow stains below the water Line. Boat US sells it. Its a blue gel, no effort. Has Oxalic acid, thats the magic.

Troutly:
I tried to respond to your email but it keeps getting returned. Try it out and email me again. Maybe I got a bum link or return.

Other Posts:
As far as the other cleaners go. The Johnny Ring Go is NOT the same stuff. I could not check the site of the other but I can tell you that the product that I have was formulated to clean scum lines from pools WITHOUT upsetting the chemical balance. Hydrochloric acid will upset that balance and cause burns among other things. This product (the one mentioned by BillR) does NOT and it gets the stains out without scrubbing, brushing, gloves, goggles, or respirators. It also does no damage to rubber, vinyl, or other sensitive areas (like in the bilge).

For those who are interested in buying the product that I have, please email me at [email protected] . I am just reselling it from a whoesaler but have not found it elsewhere yet. If you can find it elsewhere, please get it from whomever is easier for you. My thought was simple; Pass on a good product that I use personally to other boaters. If you like it fine, if not fine, if you use something else fine. I can say just one thing; I have also tried everything mentioned by the others and this beats them all. That's my $.02.

Thanks for your interest and good luck with whatever you go with.

Dave

Mn FastBoat:

If cleaner wax is no longer doing the job for the exhaust stains this does. I used it on my old Scarab and it did a better job and involved a lot less effort. Email me for more info and include your zip code if you are interested so I can quote you S&H.

Thanks,
Dave

For those who are interested in this product:

One large bottle will do at least 3 full 34' boat hulls including transom as well as touch ups. It will take off stains and NOT damage anything in the process. The cost per bottle is $24.95 plus S&H (avg $5-6 UPS).

As the testimonials have said, it works better than anything else that they have tried and is easy on you to apply.

Email me at [email protected] with your zip code and I will quote you a delivered final price. I prefer being paid using www.PayPal.com (an online, no cost to you, way to send private parties money with a credit card) so that both you and I are protected.

As mentioned before this is not my day job so I will do my best to return all of the emails in a timely fashion. Thanks.

Last night I cleaned the hard to get areas of the bottom, some of this cleaner dripped on me. . .no burning or anything. Felt like a glob of dish washing liquid had dripped.
Anyway, not the entire bottom of my boat is white again!!!!

Vyper,

What is the active ingreadent in your Ring-Go cleaner? It should be listed on the label.

Thanks,

Ron

I wish I knew. The bottle does not say what the ingredients are. Perhaps this is why it is not sold in stores... All I do know is that it does the job and does not burn skin or create a chemical imbalance in environments like pools and hot tubs.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

I found this on the internet. Ring-go is described as a toilet bowl cleaner. Is this the same stuff?
