they need to pass this law everywhere, here in Miami we have the USCG, FL Marine Patrol, National Park Service, ICE, Miami Dade county police, and then the city police of whatever city you are near and they are often out of their jurisdiction. All of them can stop you whenever they feel like it. and I probably forgot some.

Michigan needs this too. It is not hard to see 4 different agencies pulling people over constantly on the Saginaw River let alone the busy inland lakes. Performance boaters on the river can darn near get pulled over everytime out.

I read last year that another state was passing the same law in october of 2012? Maryland???
