Don't let her looks fool you - Tristan is the real deal. Anyone who can drive a twin step, surface drive, two speed, diesel powered carbon boat which is setup for long distance offshore endurance racing around a short oval course averaging almost 80mph @ 2 mpg while making it look like a Sunday cruise has my respect, man or woman.

I thought it was mentioned in another thread that they were going to use the Bimini Challenge as a test run for the NY to Bermuda - could be mistaken.

Is there a Bimini Challenge this year? Typically its mid June isn't it? Apologies for the derail....
