38 cigarette trim
Hello
Just started getting the 38 Cigarette out on the water. I am having trouble getting it to plane out as fast as my 32 Fountain would. It has 525 motors, 32 pitch boavo one four blade props, approx. 1/2 fuel load, and four average adults. I have to really feather the throttle or the props break loose. What am I doing wrong or does it just take a little longer for it to plane out?? Any advice??

Don't forget throwing the tabs down to. 38 top gun, I will guess you have either bravos or TRS's. it's a heavy boat. Best to take it easy getting on plane. As for props, I am not sure

What type of drives Sportmasters? I had the same boat for three years same power and Sportmaster drives the boat hates getting on plane but this is what I did. First tuck the drives all the way in and set tabs a little lower than neutral setting the tabs down too far lifts the stern up which then breaks the props free. I always made sure I had a clear path in front of me. Keep trying different tab settings it will get up on plane. Good luck Joe
