No good tattoo artist will copy someone else's tattoo from a photograph you bring them.
Find a photo or a series of photo's of a boat or boats that you want reproduced, and then do some research! There's a renaissance happening in the tattoo world. There are some brilliant artists doing hyper-realistic images on skin. They have long waiting lists, in some cases you could be waiting a year or more for an appointment. But if that's what you want...Go for it!
My only advise ...Go BIG or go home!
You are in PA? Start by looking up Ron Russo at 570 Tattooing in Wilkes Barre...Go see Paul Acker or Dan Henk at Deep Six in Philly.
