She is currently at Bay Ship and Yacht on Alameda Isle in the San Francisco Bay. She's in capable hands and has come a long, long way from where she was back in 08'. She was in Corpus Christi for years and then ended up in Mexico where she was going to be scrapped.

The current owner, Dave Olsen, will use her as his personal vessel but will also offer limited tours and Bay cruises from what I understand. He is well known locally and is a complete fanatic about what he lays his hands on. He has an extensive collection of cars too. He has a collection of vintage racecars and road cars that would put Jay Leno to shame.

I remember this boat vividly as a kid growing up in Corpus. It sat for years and years and I only saw it move under power one time which unfortunately, led to a tow back to the marina. Always wondered what it looked like inside and the rest they're doing is top notch.

Is this the Dave Olsen who is the cofounder of Starbucks ??
