They wouldn't like me very much. Go out a lot by myself. Used to doing it alone to the point that if someone goes with me they may hold a dock line or something but that's about all.
It was funny when I used to use a public ramp the things I would hear. Pull up to the ramp in the boat 15 minutes after some other guy with his family/friends did. Tie up the boat, go get the truck and trailer and back it down the ramp, have the boat on the trailer and be on the way out hearing a wife or girlfriend saying, why is it taking ___ so long??

True that, but a few of the boaters hauling out of there on pontoons and bass boats, wasted and sunburned, look like they could give them a run for their money.
RE: Lake Cumberland - I avoid launching at State Dock or Jamestown. It is definitely worth the drive to keep going down 127 to the new ramp next to the dam. Much wider and more user-friendly. Parking is much better than Jamestown too. However, make sure you have your spare chained and locked to your trailer. Some scum bag stole mine one weekend when I was down there - mount and all.

I will say there were a lot of idiots there loading boats.....who in the hell backs the trailer so far in that the boat is able to over run the trailer and bash into the tailgate of the truck
.....just stupid
and the people taking 15-20 minutes to load out.....morons get out of the way already.....boat on trailer, attach front strap or chain (probably should have both IMO with one as a safety) and drive the hell out of there......don't unload coolers and other crap or rearrange the entire contents of your truck.....get the hell out of the way and do that crap at the top of the ramp......and even worse is people in boats that are being pulled by a car or truck struggling to get up the ramp......get out of the boat you fat assed idiots you are 100% dead weight and even in the front of the boat putting tongue weight on you are going to do little for traction VS the additional weight you are adding to be pulled up
as for the trash on the sides what a massive pack of losers.....I can see laughing at the idiots that run the boat up the trailer and into the back of their truck if you are there loading out yourself or if you are at a restaurant next door eating and drinking, but getting up off of your futon or pappasan chair and hitting the clicker to turn off the springer reruns and heading to the dock to sit there like an ass......what a pack of total losers and shore trash

The video really doesn't show the slant too much. I've seen worse ramps but it's got a decent slope. The problem really isn't the slope, it's the slick as snot aspect of it. There's virtually moss growing on the ramp.
