You will never find a boat like this that actually passes a survey with motor testing for 50k. Who knows if this one will either. I have just bought a boat and my budget was in the 50k range. I surveyed 3 boats, drove and flew to see many. The most frustrating few months for me. I found out that the great deals are far and few between on clean hulls with good motors. I spent over 3k traveling and having boats surveyed and inspected to find out they just weren't what they should be. The 33 scarabs sell above 50k in the late 90's. For 150k I would sure buy something else. As would most people. But no way is a boat like that ever going to be in the 50's. Just my 2 cents.

I have restored a few boats and can see getting that much money in it, The sad part is you can't get it out of it. You have to build it, like it, and use it but shame on you if you have to sell it. Nice boat though. I have always liked Hogan his good people.

If this is worth $50 then mine's worth $10k......not worth $150k but you'd be on crack to think you could or should buy this for $50.
