Good evening to all..



I need assistance with a cracked inner transom plate at the steering bolt, it needs to be replaced what are the appropriate steps in replacing the plate? Will I have to remove the whole engine ?

Please advise bought a bought at auction and steering was held to transom plate with a pressure clamp I'm scared this will not hold very well a lot of flex in steering when turning wheel with the pressure clamp, I have already purchased the new inner plate, now just need some guidance in he job.
