Default SBC Builders- who is out there

Possibly going to power up with 383's. I know merc makes some but the power level is not where I would like to be. I have not called around to any of the engine builders on this site because it is such mild power compared to what most are building. Really just looking for ballpark numbers to start working on a budget. I would want a min of 400hp with 425ft lbs around 5400 rpm. May put it off for a few years depending on cost.

Find a pair of 427 small blocks and build them that will get the power you would want and sound good to. start from scratch to trust me on that note

ALMOST---I just installed their 502/502 in my 25' Outlaw----hopefully will be in the water next week--The dealer has bought their engines for 15 years now and has only had 1 bad one---so I took the chance !!!

what you really want to do is call dart and get a paid of their 406 engines..i know a friend of a friend that put a pair in his 28zx and the boat tops out a little over 90 mph..

your going to spend the monet so do it once and do it rite..ps,,no eagle rotating junk...too heavy..

Pss eagle engine sales sells good stuff but i dont like the pistons or rings they use ..if you want to go fast call dart..
