Jack McKay ran the world champion Corsa Tabu back in the mid '90s. You might want to talk to him. The number at his shop is (631) 249-2860.

Best regards,
Jennifer

Default corsa marine

I have a 1993 26ft corsa and can't find any info on the manufacturer either. I was considering upgrading but I love this boat too much.

Muffman what do you have for power? What kind of performance are you getting. How does your boat handle?, ride? My guess is pretty well, the hull is a true 24 degree hull, no pad or anything else, is this correct, do you have any pictures of your boat you could e-mail me?

Jennifer thanks for the lead on the Tabu boat

Kirk

I came across this post in another search. If anyone on here is still interested in the fate of an old boat, I now own the 1983 26' Corsa 'Tabu'. I have put a brand new 615hp 540 in, freshened up the SSM III drive, re-wired and re-plumbed everything. The boat still feels bomb-proof (that's what happens when you have a 1.5" thick hull bottom...). As a testament to the quality of the old Kiekhaefer Aeromarine equipment and Latham Steering, everything still works great!
