I think I said check the mounting height not lower the motors,

Got it figured out. Thanks for all of the replies. I was setting the trim tabs to high and not waiting for the bite of the props. Consulted the old owner and owners manual. Made a run from grand haven to muskegon (mi) not too far with no problems. Ill fill in my profile info, as soon as I can post pics..
