Inconel deals with heat extremely well. The only experience I have with it is in firearm suppressors. It's hard to work and work hardens quickly. I'm sure it would be a better option than stainless steel for surfacing props. No idea how it would stack up to titanium though. Cost on the other hand, might quickly make it not an option.

I would assume with my limited understanding of metal properties, that the constant loading and unloading of the prop work hardens the material. It then gets brittle and cracks/fails.
