Can you actually ship something same day via commercial air w/o being on the flight yourself since 911?
US Air use to offer a same day PDQ service but I didn't think so anymore.

I'm not sure. Maybe someone here knows more about airline shipping. UPS and FedEx said they can have it there by Friday.

If memory serves correct, the distance is 850 miles. If they need to beat 17 hours, they have to average more than 50MPH.

Ok maybe I'm missing something, how will Fri help their record attempt?
Or is it just to make it home more efficiently regardless?

Great spreadsheet. Is that something we can refresh or is it static from you?

I can't get the live feed and location.
Anyone remember the Dover to Calais race? Are they still having it and making the boats? They used to be pretty heavy duty alum. "V" hulls. More like Submarines then boat. Pretty rough channel. Might be a good Bermuda runner.
