OMG, the rain has been crazy. This week 12 months ago I literally sprayed round-up on what was left of my lawn because I had given up on $400/mo water bills trying to save my lawn from oppressive heat and drought (typical late Jun-Aug weather). This week this year I'm shopping fungus control and cutting grass at least once a week and I have NO SHADE in most of my yard. We have not gone 3 days straight without a good rain shower all summer, the crabs have even left our place on the river because the water has gotten so "fresh" from rain.

Not only does the weather suck, it’s dragging our water temp the wrong way. We had one hot week in July that brought the water temperature up to 89° now it’s already back down to 77°. It’s looking like a short season.

Crappy in PA too! Can't go more than a day or 2 without rain and it has been really cool. Wearing a sweatshirt today!! Wettest summer in a Looooooong time on most of the East Coast I think. It was even cool in NC on our vacation 2 weeks ago.

Here in Western NY, it is only 58 degrees at 11:30am. Supposed to hit a high of 64, oh boy.

I was just getting ready to start a thread about the weather. At least we are not the only ones getting a cool wet summer. We had about 2 weeks of typical southwest Ohio weather with temps in the high 80's to mid 90's with high humidity and then the bottom fell out. Temps now have been ranging from 75-82, low humidity and dropping to high 50's to low 60's at night. Water temps are in the mid to upper 70's. It's hard to get the boat out because it either rains on the weekend or the water is too d**n cold to get in which is a real problem when you have a 3 year old who is not content just sitting on the boat and not getting in the water. Hope this doesn't mean snow in October this year!!!

If any of you northern folks would like to send your boat to the south, I could make sure it gets plenty of water time rain or not.
