Angry Water through horn cover, is there a false grill/block-off?

My boat is taking on water through the horn cover when I dunk the bow. Since this horn is useless anyway I would like to replace the cover with a block off plate with false slots that look like a horn cover. This would be a lot cheaper than glassing in the opening. A nice SS billet piece would look sweet. Has anyone done this? Any ideas? Thanks. Now I carry an air horn by my seat that people will actually be able to hear.

Made a new one for mine, (functional) CNC out of aluminum and polished. Would be easy to recess the back and silicone in a piece of lexan to make it waterproof but looking functional.

That would be perfect but with the slots recessed and not cut through and painted black. Who can make me one?
