I hear ya bud
There has always been the comparison between for profit events verses club events at a lower cost.
But it really comes to light when two examples are on exactly the same weekend.
BUFFALO 1.
ISLANDS. 0
The photography coverage on here really makes a huge difference too.
Tim promoted Buffalo big time.

I have been going to the 1000 Islands Poker Run (Kingston) for the past 10 years. I love the city of Kingston and it is a great time. We go with a group of 10 boats every year. We have fun regardless, but the size of the run has definitely diminished. Nice to see the extreme power and hardware, but our group has decided we will be doing the Buffalo run next year. Still love Kingston, but want a change and the size of the Kingston run has shrunk enough to warrant a change.

Best looking boat Fountain ever built IMO. Looked at purchasing his old Scarab at one point. That owner knows how to look after and keep a boat clean that's for sure. Met him once during one of PBCC Poker Runs but the name eludes me at this point.

John Landry. One of the nicest people you will ever meet. Whenever he brings his boat in for service, he throws me or one of our techs in the drivers seat for a rip.
