Tabs are all the way up.

35-40 is kind of slow....might want to bump it up to 50ish

Do you have K planes and drive and tab indicators ?....if so, what are the positions you're
running them at ?

Which direction are the props spinning? In or Out?

Also, do not overtrim. You will destroy your U-joints. 3-4 ticks above neutral is as far as you want to go.

I know all boats are different but I run my drive indicators up to 6-7 and the boat loves it. If I take the spacers out of the drives, I run them up to 7 and have never hurt the joints.

On a side note, I absolutely appreciate your input, you know your subjects well,but we have to take into account fresh or salt water (and salinity) and loads. Some people have their boats loaded with gear that isn't needed. I see too many people on here trying to use these boats as weekened cruisers and can't understand why they aren't geeting the speeds.

Inward rotation produces more trim leverage ( i.e. bow lift ), outward produces stern lift

Thanks for all the feedback. Yes I do have indicator Tabs and typically cruise with them in the middle range. I have gone higher 3/4 up but the bow still sits very low. Knowing that it was stored for a long period hanginga foot off the Trailer Bunks it does seem to make sense that it could have caused the "Hollows" I will have it out of the water in the next week to confirm, if thats the case is there a fix for Hollows? The boat is in Fresh Water now but will be in South Florida for the Winter if any ones has any recommendations on where to have it fixed? Thanks again.

have someone with more experience drive it before you do anything, props may be someones junk that were put on there for the sale of the boat, I think its something simple, sitting on the trailer like that is not good but I don't think that's the deal, how long have you had it? there are several people who can straighten the bottom, but in reality all Baja boat have a slight hook atleast the ones we ran did.

also make sure there is not any water stored up frt, under the floor check all the drains, hidden water is heavy and will make it ride like crap.

[ATTACH=CONFIG]506876[/ATTACH]Like Johnny said you can check for trapped water, On my Kachina I found that 4 blade bravo 1 props give me a lot of stern lift but I think my x dimension is on the high side. I don't know how long it would take for a transom to drop from hanging off the back of a trailer but that's easy enough to check. As far as the negative comments about Bajas blow them off, I owned a 99 H2X & wish I would have kept it cause it was a fun boat & very predictable and easy to drive. Keep us updated on what you find. Just a question, have you tried any other props? Randy
