Maybe it is me buy I have an older 280 sport and I can't get a lot of bow lift out of it. Some other similar bajas I have watched seem to ride a little flat also. I just assumed it was part if the design?

When I owned my Baja I tried many props and felt the Revolutions 4's work the best to lift the bow and get the most WOT. Rpms at 4800. Poped out of hole nice, no propoise at all. The bravo 1s would propoise. I don't think its your hook or water in bow. might want to start thread in prop section and ask brett for help, or others with extensive prop knowledge on that hull

Have the props worked, if it wont hold the nose have them cup the tips, will give more bow lift.

Let's look at what props you are running. The factory liked to put 3 blades on everything. The boats like 4 blades much better. You could have a prop that is lifting the stern thus pushing the bow down.

also make sure there is not any water stored up frt, under the floor check all the drains, hidden water is heavy and will make it ride like crap.

All excellent replies.

That was my thought also.

Assuming it is a hook - what is the fix?

Two options, sand the high spot down and then re gell coat or fill in gap. Not that bad to do.

Tabs should be at neutral if you're running it at level 3 at 35mph. Running a slow cruise, try the drives at neutral/down and put the tabs down to 4. A little bit of tab should help it settle. Also, learn the tabs and drive handling of your boat by RPM and not speed. That's one thing I learned from Tres's class. Don't focus on speed and fuel but rather the ride you're trying to obtain.
