Default Made it back from the trip to Destin and LOTO. What a blast !!

2836 Miles
45 ++ hours of driving
14 nights
4 boat rides
2 poker/fun runs
1 EPIC trip

My GF and I decided this last January that since Destin and LOTO were on consecutive weekends this year that we were going to hit both. We booked rooms and slips in both towns expecting to have a boat before the trip.

While that did not workout as we had planned we loaded up my new dually and hit the road on 8/14 from Ft. Lauderdale and finally returned late yesterday. We cannot thank all the cool people we met along the way and the scenic route we took was a great bonus.

If anyone has questions about how to get to LOTO from Destin, don't ask me because I ended up on more than one dirt road. LMAO.

For those that don't know, south FL to Destin, FL is like 650 miles each way.....it is a hike and you don't even leave the state!

Wow that's a lot of driving! Great to meet you both at the party Thursday night!

You will have to come back again next year!

Boat/No Boat it was a great trip. The amount of people that I met has me racking my brain to put REAL names and faces with SCREEN names.

No matter what, everyone was super cool and Yvonne fell hard for LOTO. I guess it's on the permanent yearly trip list.

6 days in LOTO and I think we saw about 2% of the great places and sights.
