Default New Outerlimits Super Leggera 36 Hits 99 mph

Just in, http://speedonthewater.com/new-boats...36-hits-99-mph.

Those of you who have already arrived for tomorrow's Lake Cumberland Poker Run or are headed to it will get a first-person look at the new boat tomorrow.

Have a safe and fun weekend on the water.

All I can say is WOW!!

what did that Formula with the new Ilmore 570hp motors end up doing? i remember it being in the high 80's but I know that was before tweaking.

OL is redefining the V bottom market and hitting speeds that have never been thought possible in a recreation performance boat. Now I see why the price is what it is for that boat.

Impressive, and for the record I wouldn't have called anyone out if they wanted to round the speed up to an even 100mph being that close on her maiden voyage.

I would think comparing it to Sunsations 36 would be a better comparison. The 353 is a heavy boat and setup side-by-side. I think the 1st few 36 Sunsations were mid to upper 90s w/ 525s. This new Outerlimits is a awesome looking boat!

The first time I went over 100 in a boat was a 37 outer limits called speed unlimited with fiore driving. It was one of his early boats with big supercharged power in it. Ran like 105. It's amazing how things have evolved to building a boat with stock power that's almost as fast. What an awesome package.

Yes the boat has a full cabin with cooler and head. We are very happy with the way the boat came out from the styling to handling and performance. Will get some more pictures up shortly.
