Words cannot describe my sadness for the loss of Brad and Jeff. My prayers go out to their families.
Jeff was very kind to me on several occasions at Skater during my build and even offered to take my boat when my son was injured.
Brad took over my engine project when the Indmar LSA project fell thru. He was very helpful and worked very hard to complete my engines on schedule. He even worked thru the weekend and drove all night to meet me and my son at Skater. When my son was injured and I could not go to Michigan Brad stepped in and worked with Pete and Mike on my build. He was a class act and one of the nicest guys I have ever met in boating and life. We often discussed how important our family was to us. He shared with me about his daughters dance competition and was very proud of his son's paint job on my valve covers. We will miss you and again your family will be in our constant prayers.

Damn Jay, that choked me up. Didn't know them well but just one of the people who share the same passion as the rest of us. Jeff came up to the docks at the Lake Race to talk to me about my motors. He introduced himself and was a true gentleman. I didn't find out until later that this was his boat. Wild and I had the pleasure of making a short run with him at LOTO one morning. Both of us were just chillin' and running a leisurely pace and staying together for a bit. This really sucks.

Thoughts and prayers. A sad day in our community.
