I am sickened by this today. I have been out of boating for a bit, so I didn't hear about this until today. I got to know Brad about 6 years ago when he did an engine for my boat. One of the finest people I have ever met. I think beyond being my "engine guy" he was as much of a friend as well. My Smith Power T Shirt will be displayed proudly! Not going to be a good week. Hopefully soon there will be info on the funeral so I can send my family's regards.

I have a home on lake Cumberland and on the water every weekend. I love sitting on the deck and watching those early morning runs by the go fast guys.

There are an enormous amount of people in this area that love it too, the reason for such a huge spectator turnout.

With that many people around the chance of inconsiderate boaters or just plain fools goes through the roof. The water conditions at poker run become insane andI can only imagine how hard it must be to run in it.

These men were obviously professionals and my sincere apologies for the conditions they are asked to run in.
Very Well Said.

I, for sure would buy one.
Again, RIP
That would be great!

I did not personally know Brad or Jeff but I felt like I did due to OSO. I also just read a great article about both of them on PB Nation that makes this loss even more tragic and hard to swallow. These losses will not be forgotten as by reading the majority of these posts that their passion, unselfishness and love for this hobby left a lasting memory in a lot of peoples minds and hearts. My thoughts and condolences to the families first and also his friends. RIP Brad and Jeff
