you tube link was in other thread- I see it was edited out as it should have been. That thread isn't the place for it.

Any debates on how, who, when should be politely removed by the poster. This is not the time nor the place to discuss this tragedy. I can understand the debate and point of views, but start it in the bilge or a more "private" area of OSO.

Fully agree this isn't the time or the place for debating right or wrong just wasn't sure if I missed the link somewhere, thanks for the clarification!

IT IS NOT THE POKER RUN EVENT
… its the quest for speed… and these boats are running very fast and when there is a sudden change in the boats angle of attack, AT THESE SPEEDS, the results can be devastating….IMO it's just part of what can happen when we push these machines to these high speeds. If i am not mistaken, people are "occasionally" lost in just about every motor sport there is.

These people are adults - they knew the risks, everyone does, but its THE RISK they willingly take fulfilling their need for speed.

This will not be the last one, unfortunately. and next weekend somebody else will be pushing the limits...I mean no disrespect to the families and friends of these 2 individuals.

GODSPEED and RIP!!!
Very Sad
