Hey Dave! Your ears must of been burning. I talked to Jerry at SM today and mentioned that I was going to give you a call about the install. Talk to you soon.

Same time in one night I get to post this pic! See if they can send you a set not powder coated and polish them up and clear coated... I know these are on an sbc, but you get the idea. I had the powder coat stripped from this set.

I put them on my 525 last fall. No performance loss, same sound and no worries about the CMIs cracking(happened 3 times in 3 years). I had them painted blue to match the motor.

This all sounds pretty good. I'm pretty sure I'm going with Stainless Marine. It's going to be an off season project though.

I'm in the same boat with my 575's...... Been pressure testing them every winter and so far so good but feel my luck will eventually run out. Will the SM's fit my 575sci's ? They look pretty good on appearance to me......

My boat is in the shop right now waiting to get the Stainless Marine system installed. I'll be sure to post the results.

I figure I got lucky, my motor is a 2005 model with the original CMI's and the leak-down came back OK and no other major issues.
